BYC Coordination Meeting: Coming Together to Strengthen Collective Leadership

The Bangladesh Youth Coalition (BYC) successfully organized a Coordination Meeting on 24 September 2026, convened by the BYC Secretariat, Youth For Change Bangladesh Foundation. The meeting was held as part of the "Strengthening Bangladesh Youth Coalition (BYC)" initiative, in collaboration with Plan International Bangladesh under the Shomotay Tarun: Youth for Equality project, funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The meeting brought together 50+ BYC member organizations through both in-person and online participation, creating an important space for members to share perspectives, coordinate collectively, and plan for the upcoming BYC Executive Committee Election & Special General Meeting 2026, scheduled for 4–6 October 2026.

Discussions also focused on member engagement, including re-engaging inactive organizations and creating opportunities for new members, alongside strengthening BYC's governance, coordination, and collective decision-making.

BYC extends its appreciation to all member organizations for their active participation and valuable contributions in shaping the coalition's next steps, reflecting a shared commitment to collective ownership, transparency, accountability, and meaningful youth participation.

Special thanks go to আরণ্যক, Coordinator–Network of BYC, for supporting the venue arrangements and helping make the meeting possible.

Together, we discuss. Together, we decide. Together, we move BYC forward.
